Saturday report 6/30

Ace in the boat alone choppy wind SW drifted all morning.

I fished several edges looking for good fish caught 21 total in 5 hours.

1 keeper eye and 2 nice pan fish went to Dan the only friend that will clean fish.

The morning  son of ace will be in the boat will report tomorrow.

Friday 6/29 report

NE wind choppy tried drifting out front at first edge.

Caught fish but no keeper eyes 1 10 1/2 in gill.

totalfish 9 small eyes 5 gills 3 perch.

My son and I will try in the morning.

Thursday 6/28 report

The ace is picturer with his limit.

Today was great I had 4 Keeper eyes by 7:30 fished hard for the last one at 9:30.

Total fish for the day 5 keeper eyes 8 smalleyes 5 pan fish 1 pike 1 small mouth 1 perch.

Color and bait didn't seemto matter most fish were caught SE of Songer's in 10 ft and weedy

Wednesday 6/27 report

Great morning cool and calm started fishing 5:40.

Armed with fresh bait from Papa's bait started trolling SE at 8 ft.

Hit the weed edge at 10 ft turned east fish started bitting.

Headed west trolled edge as far as Songer's turned trolled back east.

Caught 5 keeper eyes 5 small eyes 1 pike 1 gill quit at 7;45

Tuesday 6/26 report

Cool and light fishing was slow but still caught 15 fish.

3 keeper eyes 5 small eyes 3 pike 3 rock bass 1 nice crappie, 14 inches.

Nice fish dinner for Smoking in the D BBQ team.few beers good time.

No fishing civic duties call I'll try tomorrow.

Sunday 6/24 report

Cloudy light SE wind with threat of thundershowers.

Started at 6 out front trolling east and west on weed edge.

Fished until wind came up just before 10: 00.

Caught 3 keeper eyes 12 small eyes 2 perch 1 pike 1 gill 1 small mouth.

Worms seemed to work better than leaches,color didn't seem to matter.

Saturday 6/23 report

A great day on the lake fishing and boating.

Fished early 5:45 until 11:00 caught 24 fish.

4 keeper eyes 14 small eyes 3 pike 1 perch 1 smallie 1 rockie.

Lake was calm fish were hitting every color I used but leaches out fished worms 21 to 3.

Thursday and friday fishing report 6/22

Thursday windy no fishing .

Friday wind was light started at 5:50 trolled east and west from Songers to the public launch bite was slow turned south and followed edge from horseshoe weed bed to top turn on my GPS.

Caught 5 keeper eyes 9 small eyes 2 pike 1 small mouth 1 large mouth 1 rock bass 1 gill 1 perch.

Wednesday 6/20 report

Windy but fished anyway drifted from 6 until 9:30 caught 13 fish

3 small eyes 6 bluegills 1 sun fish1perch 1 large mouth 1 rock bass.

Tuesday 6/19 report

Thunder showers over night windy this morning I went out in choppy water.

1 small eye 2 perch bounced around for 3 hours will try tomorrow.

Windy thunder storms maybe tomorrow I can fish.

Saturday report 6/16

Late again son of ace and friends started after ace caught 3 fish.

3 boats fishing all boats caught fish including keeper eyes .

Total fish over 30 fun for all weather great looking forward

to fishing with this group again.

Cleaned 6 keeper eyes 1 pike 3 pan fish.

Friday 6/15 post

No fishing report today deck staining was on the schedule.

Looks like a two boat report due tomorrow.

Thursday 6/14 report

What a difference a day makes,no keepers today 2 small eyes 2 pike 3 pan fish 2 perch.

Fished 5 different edges trolling and drifting fish were not biting.

What could be the cause?  Cool night east wind?

Try again tomorrow

Wednesday 6/13 report

A good day fishing 5 keepers 11 small eyes 3 pike 3 pan fish 2 perch [1 was 12 inches.

Cool and clear with little wind trolled east and west edge out front caught a few .

Trolled south to my top turn fish were hitting at far south edge had 3 fish on at one time.

Fish 5 hours total fish 24. worms and leaches working equal color made no difference.

Tuesday 6/12 report

Cool and choppy winds from NE 6mph when I started 12 mph when I stopped.

Drifted out front for 2 hours caught 7 fish.

2 keeper eyes 3 smalleyes 2 pike.

Whitecaps pushed me off at 8:30.

Monday 6/11 report

West wind 6 mph fished the east edge of the middle grounds drifting.

1 and 1/2 hours small perch were all that hit.

Trolled into the wind on same edge caught 23 fish.

3 keeper eyes 2 small eyes 9 pan fish 1 pike 1 crappie 7 perch .

Cleaned the eyes 1 blue gill over 9 inches and the 11 inch crappie.

Wind picked up quit at 11 am.

Sunday 6/10 report

Breezy warm fished 3and 1/2 hours caught 9 fish

2 small eyes 4 pan fish 3 perch.

Dirty water from windy afternoon and night winds slowed bite.

Saturday 6/9 report

Big Jon and Ace hit the lake at 5:45 dodged the rain until 9:30.

Caught 4 keeper eyes 4 small eyes 6 pan fish 3 pike 4 small perch 1 small mouth.

Came in a little damp but still a good morning no need to mention

totals the ace wins again.

Friday 6/8 report

Good fishing today caught 34 fish from 6:00 until 9:30.

5 keeper eyes 7 small eyes 7sunfish blue gill mix 6 pike 6 large mouth 3 perch.

Cloudy light W wind fished the north east middle ground edge around 9 feet.

Color didn't seem to matter fish all 3 colors I had on.

Thursday 6/7 report

Early start 5:35 went to NE edge middle grounds  fish were biting.

Caught 12 fish in the frist 2 hours .

2 small eyes 3 pike 2 perch 3 bluegills 2 large mouth.

Wind came up fish quit. I came in cleaned 3 gills and 1 perch.

Wednesday 6/6 report

Cool calm start at 5:50 trolled three spots looking for fish.

Two hours and only 2 fish moved to east edge of the middle grounds.

The next 2 hours 17 fish.  2 keeper eyes 6 small eyes 7 pike 3 perch 1 sun fish.

Large may flies starting to hatch fishing should be better Thursday.

Tuesday 6/5 report

Fishing was a little better today I caught 18 fish in 4 hours.

1 keeper eye 4 small eye 6 pike 3 perch 2 large mouth 1 sunfish 1 rock bass

Chief reported 2 keeper eyes Monday and 3 keeper eyes today .

He is using minnows at his secret spot.

Monday 6/4 report

Finally got back on the lake.but fishing was poor.

Caught 1 small eye 2 pike 1 rock bass in 4 hours.

I blame it on dirty water  and poor wind direction NE wind .

Looks like better weather for the rest of the week
