Monday 8/17 report

The fishing has slowed down I'm still catching fish but only 10  or so a day keeper eyes are in the weeds and you need to work for them. Pan fish and pike are still hitting but not as well as a few weeks ago water temp finally reached the 70's if the winds slow down fishing should pick up.

FRIDAY 7/24 REPORT

Thanks friend and fellow fisherman Ken for the tip on Thursday I did just as you said and

caught my limit of 5 keeper eyes on Friday in just over 2 hours of fishing. Right spot Right

blades about a dozen miss. fish also. Hatchet blades seemed to pull through the heavy

cabbage weeds and get down where the eyes were hiding. 3 keeper eyes on Wednesday

only 8 fish Thursday but 32 in northern made it a good day.

Sunday 7/19 weekly summary

I fished 5 days this week I am catching fish but the number of keeper eyes is down a little

I had company in the boat 4 of the 5 days Wednesday 4 keeper eyes and 2 pike that were

kept. Thursday 2 keeper eyes and 11 in perch, Saturday 2 keeper eyes and a nice gill.

Sunday fished with Jon and Joe 1 keeper eye and many other fish that were released.

The fish are very active during the morning and the weather is warming up water temp

has reached 70 degrees . Trolling works best for me using crawlers or leaches on my

single hook harness. Yellow or chartreuse  blades working well.

If all the fish we catch were counted 30 plus fish is not unusual each day.
